Notes for Milton Harvey Spangler
Milton H. Spangler, aged 64 years, of Mt. Zion, Lebanon R.D. 2, died at 2:00 o'clock this morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital, after a two weeks illness. He was a member of the Zoar Church, Mt. Zion, and had operated Freeport Mills for the past six years. He held membership in the Independent Order of Americans, Myerstown Lodge. Besides his widow, Sallie Peiffer Spangler, the following survive; a son, Miles Spangler, of Mt. Zion; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, George Spangler, of Palmyra; Jacob Spangler, of Fredericksburg; John Spangler, of Jonestown; Henry Spangler, of Myerstown R.F.D.; Frank Spangler, of Mt. Zion; Robert Spangler, of Myerstown R.F.D.; Mrs. Isa Houtz, of Mt. Zion; and Mrs. Emma Marks, of Womelsdorf, Berks County. [Lebanon Daily News, 30 Oct 1939]
