Mrs. Leah Derr, nee Palm, wife of Conrad Derr, of Avon Heights, died suddenly at her home, Tuesday afternoon of heart trouble. She was 59 years old, a member of St. Elias church, Newmanstown. Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children, John, of Elvyn, Pa.; Mrs. John Patches, of Avon, and David, of Monroe Valley. Two brothers, John, of Robesonia, and George, of Berkshire Heights, one sister, Mrs. John Fox, of Berkshire Heights, one half-brother, W. B. Palm, two half-sisters, Mrs. Stella Shanaman and Mrs. John Hartman, all of Robesonia. Ten grandchildren also survive. [Lebanon Semi Weekly News, February 5, 1931, Page 3]
