12 Mar 1965: Paul I. Marks, 70, Womelsdorf RD 1, died Thursday night at his home. He had operated his own printing business for 35 years at his home. A native of Kutztown, Lebanon County, he was a son of he late John H. and Lizzie Moyer Marks. He was the husband of Mrs. Emma L. Spangler Marks. Marks was a member of Mount Zion United Church of Christ; the Mount Pleasant Fire Company, the Sinking Spring Fire Company and the Womelsdorf Fire Company; the Millcreek Rod and Gun Club and the Roosevelt Truman Democratic Club of Berks County. Besides his widow, he is survived by a sister, Elsie L., wife of Abner L. Ruth, Wernersville RD 3, and two brothers, Carl F. Marks, Harrisburg, and Leroy H. Marks, Philadelphia. [Lebanon Daily News]

25 Apr 1967: Mrs. Emma L. Marks, Mount Zion, died Monday in the Good Samaritan Hospital, where she had been a patient for five days. She was 78. A native of Womelsdorf, she was a daughter of the late John and Dianna Gerhart Spangler. Her husband, Paul I. Marks died in 1964. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Mount Zion. Surviving are a brother, John H. Spangler, West Johnstown and 12 nieces and 29 nephews. [Lebanon Daily News]
